Welcome, Denise Durham Williams!

Denise Durham Williams has been tapped by Inspirica’s board to take the helm of the Stamford-based not-for-profit organization. Ms. Williams brings more than 20 years of values-driven leadership in both the private and notfor-profit sectors. Williams will assume her new role as Chief Executive Officer on Wednesday August 21st, 2019.

“We are very pleased to be bringing on Denise,” said Bruce Heller, Chairman of Inspirica’s Board of Directors. “After an exhaustive search, we believe she brings the right leadership experience and character to achieve our mission of helping people go from homeless to home.”

Denise Durham Williams brings to Inspirica strengths in strategic planning, development, advocacy, community relations, organizational growth, partnerships, fiscal responsibility and compliance. Her track record includes organizations such as Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, Student Sponsor Partners, Kids in Distressed Situations, One Family, Citigroup and JP Morgan Chase. Ms. Williams has a BA in Economics from Tufts University. She has extensive community involvement and has received numerous awards of achievement including Woman of Achievement from the Committee of Hispanic Children and Families, The Beacon for Homelessness Award and the Civic Spirit Award from the Women’s City Club on New York.
